I believe that the key to effective therapy is building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients. As someone who personally understands what anxiety feels like, I recognize the obstacle it can be and the hard work involved in getting back in control of your life. I work from a person-centered perspective, which means that I will tailor our therapy sessions to meet your unique needs and goals.  I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can feel comfortable discussing your thoughts and emotions. My clients describe me as easy going, comfortable to talk to, personable, and humorous when needed.

I will support you as you build insight into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors which are impacting who you want to be today, and will support you in finding helpful ways to cope through anxiety and changes in your life. Together, we will work to develop strategies that can help you navigate life's challenges, helping you to feel more aligned with how you want your life to look.

  • As a therapist, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT) where we work on identifying how your thoughts and actions increase anxiety. I also work using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you feel more accepting of anxiety and stress so you can live your best life, despite feeling overwhelmed. I also focused on a strengths based approach as I see you as having the inner strength to cope with current stressors.

  • I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master’s Degree in Counseling-Marriage & Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge. I hold a LMFT license in both California and Texas.
